Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair, the distinguished Imam of Masjid Al-Nabawi in Madinah, took a meaningful pause during his official visit to the Maldives to meet with preschool students at the Islamic Centre in Malé. The visit created a memorable and heartwarming experience, reflecting his genuine compassion and commitment to inspiring the next generation in the teachings of Islam.

The gathering brought together approximately 1,500 young students from a diverse range of preschools and schools in the capital, each accompanied by their teachers and school representatives. Participating institutions included Falah Preschool, Kokkomen Preschool, Shine Learners Preschool, Dhondhooni Preschool, Excel International School, Ameer Ahmed School, Galolhu Madharusa, Mafannu Madharusa, Kinder Pre-School, Burooj Preschool, Kangaroo Kids, and Ahmadiyya International School.
The event was filled with moments of joy and reverence, as two children delivered Quran recitations in front of the Imam and the audience, showcasing the spiritual foundation being nurtured at an early age. Sheikh Dr. Al-Budair warmly praised the students and extended prayers for their success, encouraging them to grow with faith, knowledge, and moral strength. His gentle interaction with the children and encouraging words left a lasting impression on both the students and the educators in attendance.

Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the Islamic Centre, the event highlighted the country’s dedication to instilling Islamic values in children from their earliest years.
