Ooredoo Maldives has announced the first winner of its nationwide ‘Hingaa’ promotion, with Hassan Nishan from N. Holhudhoo receiving the first All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) awarded under the year-long campaign. The initiative forms part of the company’s ongoing customer engagement programmes designed to recognise and reward subscribers who rely on Ooredoo’s connectivity services for their everyday communication and digital needs.
The ‘Hingaa’ promotion, which commenced in December 2025, will continue throughout 2026, offering customers the opportunity to win a total of six ATVs through a series of bi-monthly lucky draws. Under the structure of the campaign, one winner will be selected every two months, giving customers multiple opportunities over the course of the year to take part in the promotion.
Participation in the promotion is linked to the active use of Ooredoo’s range of digital and telecommunications services. Customers become eligible for the lucky draws by subscribing to one or more Ooredoo services, including prepaid or postpaid mobile plans, SuperNet broadband, Faseyha packages, or the company’s 5G AirFibre service. The campaign encourages customers to continue engaging with the company’s digital ecosystem while benefiting from reliable connectivity solutions available across the Maldives.
To qualify for each draw, customers must spend a minimum of MVR 400 per month on Ooredoo services during the 60-day period leading up to the draw date. In addition, participants must ensure that their subscribed services remain active and up to date at the time the draw is conducted. These requirements apply to both new and existing customers, enabling a wide range of subscribers to take part in the promotion.
Winners are selected through a lucky draw system, with one ATV awarded during each scheduled draw. According to the promotion’s rules, customers who win during the first five draws will not be eligible to win again in subsequent draws during the campaign period. However, all participants will remain eligible to compete for the final grand prize draw scheduled at the conclusion of the promotion.
Ooredoo Maldives stated that initiatives such as the ‘Hingaa’ promotion form part of the company’s broader efforts to strengthen customer engagement and deliver additional value to its subscriber base. By integrating promotional rewards with the use of everyday digital services, the company aims to enhance the overall customer experience while supporting the continued growth of digital connectivity across the Maldives.
