Dhiraagu has announced the first winner of its highly anticipated ‘Win 2 Speedboats’ promotion, marking an exciting milestone in the company’s ongoing customer engagement initiatives for mobile and fixed broadband subscribers across the Maldives. The winner was selected on Friday during a special event hosted at Dhiraagu Beach in Hulhumalé’, where a suspense-filled lucky draw brought together customers and audiences nationwide in celebration of Dhiraagu’s commitment to delivering exceptional value and memorable experiences.

Following the lucky draw conducted among eligible Dhiraagu mobile and fixed broadband customers, the first prize, an Al Shaali Marine Canary 28 model sports speedboat powered by a Yamaha 250HP outboard engine was awarded to Abdulla Saeed from K. Male’. The premium speedboat, recognised for its sporty performance and sleek design, reflects the energetic spirit of the promotion and aligns with the Maldives’ ocean lifestyle, where marine mobility and leisure are a natural part of everyday life for many residents and visitors alike.

To ensure the process was smooth, transparent, and fair, Dhiraagu engaged Nexia Maldives as an independent third-party auditor to oversee and validate the entire draw. Representatives from Nexia Maldives were also present at the venue during the announcement of the winner, reinforcing the credibility of the event and strengthening customer confidence in the promotion’s integrity.

The beachside gathering maintained a lively atmosphere throughout the evening, featuring a high-energy live performance by DJ Mika and a special appearance by Roboman, which helped build anticipation leading up to the much-anticipated draw.
