Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced its Ramazan promotion “Ran Furusathu 2026,” offering customers the opportunity to win weekly prizes throughout the season and a major grand prize at the end of the campaign. Designed to support festive shopping and encourage convenient digital payments, the promotion will run from 10 January 2026 until 19 March 2026, creating an extended window for customers to plan their Ramadan purchases while enjoying added value through rewarding prize draws.

Under the promotion, customers can qualify for prizes by shopping for Ramadan at participating merchants and making payments through eligible BML acceptance channels. Only transactions made using BML POS terminals, BML Static QR, or the BML Payment Gateway will be counted toward the promotion, reinforcing BML’s focus on secure, reliable, and modern payment options across the Maldives. By participating through these payment methods, customers benefit from smoother checkout experiences while contributing to a more efficient and digitally enabled retail environment during one of the busiest periods of the year.

The weekly prize component offers frequent chances to win, with five winners selected every week to receive a BML gift card valued at MVR 2,000. Customers will qualify for the weekly lucky draw by spending a total of MVR 500 at participating shops, making it accessible for households managing everyday Ramadan shopping needs, including groceries, home essentials, and seasonal purchases. With multiple winners each week, the promotion provides consistent excitement across the campaign period and gives more customers the opportunity to be rewarded as they complete routine spending.

The campaign also features a highly anticipated grand prize at the conclusion of the promotion, where one lucky winner will receive a BML gift card worth MVR 100,000. To qualify for the grand prize draw, customers must spend a total of MVR 10,000 at participating shops during the promotion period using the eligible BML payment channels. This grand prize element adds a premium incentive for customers who make larger Ramadan-related purchases or who choose to consolidate their seasonal shopping at participating merchants, while continuing to use secure digital payment methods.

BML noted that details of the promotion and the full list of participating shops are available through the bank’s official promotion information. With “Ran Furusathu 2026,” BML is positioning the campaign as a practical and rewarding way for customers to manage Ramadan shopping while enjoying the convenience of accepted payment solutions, supporting merchants, and strengthening digital transaction experiences across the country.
