In a vibrant celebration of marine life and women’s empowerment in diving, OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO has launched a unique underwater photography exhibition in collaboration with TGI Maldives and Divernet, one of the world’s longest-standing diving platforms. This inspiring initiative marks the observance of PADI Women’s Dive Month and reinforces the Maldives’ growing reputation as a premier destination for ocean-centric tourism experiences.
The newly launched exhibition showcases a series of captivating underwater images taken by acclaimed British photographer and marine writer Richard Aspinall during his recent visit to the resort. With a professional background in ecology, conservation biology, and wildlife heritage management, Aspinall’s portfolio reveals an immersive glimpse into the diverse coral reefs surrounding Helengeli Island. The exhibition was officially opened by a delegation of seven international female journalists, joined by TGI Maldives Operations Manager Greta Marcelli, General Manager Alain Trefois, and the dedicated OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO operations team. The launch reflects the resort’s commitment to inclusive ocean experiences and marine awareness.
