Bandos Maldives has officially reopened its iconic Gallery Restaurant on 1st June 2025, following an extensive renovation, the first major upgrade to the restaurant since its original construction in 2004. Located just 15 minutes from Velana International Airport, Bandos Maldives is known as the second resort ever established in the country and holds a special place in Maldivian tourism history. The transformation of the Gallery Restaurant was a collaboration between respected local firms: Hannaan Architects led the architectural redesign, while the interiors were reimagined by AIDIZ Interior Design. The result is a harmonious blend of contemporary elegance and timeless ambiance. The space now features improved seating arrangements, enhanced lighting, and a more open layout, all contributing to a more inviting and memorable dining environment for guests from around the world.
