Designed with both individuals and businesses in mind, the offer is particularly beneficial for expatriates supporting their families abroad and entrepreneurs handling cross-border payments.
To use the service, customers can access m-Faisaa through the Ooredoo App, deposit funds in US dollars at any m-Faisaa agent, and proceed with the international transfer by selecting the destination, transfer amount, and preferred receiving method. The app offers real-time tracking for each transaction, ensuring transparency and ease of use throughout the process.
Ooredoo Maldives has emphasized the speed and flexibility of the service. Instant cash pickups are available in as little as 10 minutes, while larger transfers are supported through m-Faisaa’s tiered wallet system. Customers using the Gold Wallet can transfer up to USD 10,000 per day across five transactions, whereas Silver Wallet users are allowed to send up to USD 3,000 daily, with a maximum of ten transactions.
