The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has extended an opportunity to Maldivian artists to take part in the upcoming Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, offering a platform to present their artistic talents to an international audience. The event, which runs from April 28 to May 1 at the Dubai World Trade Center, is a globally recognized tourism exhibition that brings together leading travel and hospitality professionals from across the world.
In a recent public call issued via the MMPRC’s official X account, the organization encouraged local artists to register their interest by 2025 April 9. Selected artists will have the unique opportunity to demonstrate their skills through live performances and art displays during the event, as well as during the special Maldivian Evening, a highlight of the MMPRC’s promotional efforts at ATM. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to highlight the rich cultural heritage and creative talent of the Maldives alongside its natural beauty.
Now in its 30th year, the Arabian Travel Market is expected to attract more than 55,000 visitors, including key stakeholders from the tourism sector, media, and global buyers. The Maldives has consistently participated in ATM as part of its efforts to promote the country as a top-tier travel destination, and this year’s inclusion of local artists brings a vibrant new dimension to its presence.
By showcasing traditional and contemporary Maldivian art, MMPRC aims to enhance the cultural narrative of the Maldives and leave a lasting impression on international travelers. The opportunity not only celebrates Maldivian creativity but also strengthens the country’s image as a destination rich in both natural splendor and cultural depth.
