Dhiraagu has announced Mohamed Yoosuf of Malé as the final winner of its “Win 2 Speedboats” promotion, following a lucky draw conducted during a public event at Artificial Beach in Malé.
As the winner, Yoosuf received an Al Shaali Marine Canary 28 sports speedboat powered by a Yamaha 250HP outboard engine. Designed for performance and recreational travel at sea, the vessel offers a suitable combination of power, space and functionality for navigating the waters of the Maldives, where speedboats remain an important and widely used mode of transportation between islands.
The final draw included eligible customers subscribed to Dhiraagu’s mobile and fixed broadband services. The promotion provided customers across the company’s telecommunications services with the opportunity to participate and win one of two speedboats offered during the campaign.
To ensure that the selection process was conducted independently and transparently, Nexia Maldives was appointed as the third-party auditor responsible for overseeing and validating the draw. Representatives of the firm attended the event and observed the selection and official announcement of the winner.
The event also featured cultural and musical performances by Ekathi Boduberu and singer Sameeu, providing entertainment for attendees before the draw was conducted. Members of the public were also able to follow the proceedings through live broadcasts on Television Maldives and SSTV, as well as through Dhiraagu’s official Facebook and YouTube channels.
