His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu visited the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in Berlin, Germany, this afternoon as part of his ongoing official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. The visit reflects the Government’s continued commitment to strengthening diplomatic engagement and supporting Maldivian missions abroad in advancing national interests on the global stage.

Upon arrival at the Embassy premises, President Dr Muizzu was warmly received by Her Excellency Shaan Shakir, Ambassador of the Maldives to Germany, along with members of the Embassy’s diplomatic and administrative staff. The President was accompanied by members of the high-level delegation travelling with him, underscoring the importance attached to the visit and the broader objectives of the official engagement in Germany.

During the visit, President Dr Muizzu signed the Embassy’s guestbook, conveying his appreciation for the dedication and professionalism of the diplomatic mission.
