The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands has announced the launch of its 2026 Masters of Crafts season with a dynamic sound-and-motion residency featuring Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Madison McFerrin and movement therapist Jacy Cunningham, Founder of the Jacy Method, taking place from 19 to 26 January. Opening the resort’s annual programme celebrating distinguished talent across creative and wellness disciplines, this edition is designed to offer guests a refined blend of transformative fitness experiences and intimate live performances in settings shaped by the Maldives’ natural serenity. Set in the North Malé Atoll and framed by the calm rhythm of the Indian Ocean, the resort provides an elegant, design-forward sanctuary where curated experiences unfold across beach, garden, and spa environments, inviting travellers to slow down, reconnect, and embrace moments that feel both personal and restorative.

Known for her genre-blending artistry, Madison McFerrin will bring a distinctive musical presence to the islands, weaving neo-soul, R&B, and jazz-inspired harmonies into an expressive journey that complements the resort’s tranquil ambience. Her residency includes a sunset concert at the Beach Shack on 22 January, followed by a candlelit performance under the stars at Mystique Garden on 23 January, two atmospheres that reflect The Ritz-Carlton Maldives’ signature approach to pairing place with experience, where natural light, open skies, and thoughtfully crafted spaces elevate the emotion of each performance. The residency concludes with a Morning Coffee Session at The Ritz-Carlton Estate on 25 January, as the poolside deck of the four-bedroom beach residence sets a graceful tone for the day, an intimate setting intended to leave guests feeling calm, uplifted, and fully present.

Returning for his second Masters of Crafts appearance, Jacy Cunningham will lead four HIIT classes inspired by athletic conditioning, functional movement, mindful breathwork, and holistic body awareness. Designed to suit all fitness levels, each session aims to energise the body, restore balance, and strengthen the connection between mind and movement, aligning naturally with the resort’s wellness philosophy, which blends high-performance practices with the grounding influence of the ocean and island landscapes. The programme begins on 22 January with Resilience and Flow, a sunrise HIIT session on Recreation Beach, followed by Igniting Inner Strength on 23 January at Mystique Garden. On 24 January, guests can join Lightness and Freedom in the natural surroundings of Uthuru Garden, before the series concludes on 25 January with Stability and Strength, a HIIT fusion class held within The Ritz-Carlton Spa, an environment designed to support recovery, renewal, and deeper relaxation.

Oscar Postma, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, said the resort is pleased to welcome Madison McFerrin and to welcome back Jacy Cunningham to the Masters of Crafts programme, noting that their commitment to artistic expression, movement, and wellbeing offers guests a rare opportunity to connect meaningfully with both craft and nature. With the residency unfolding against the tranquil landscape of the North Malé Atoll, the week is positioned as a sensory journey shaped by music, movement, and the surrounding environment, leaving visitors renewed and inspired with lasting impressions rooted in harmony with the Maldives.
