The Maldives will host the World Cake Artistry Awards 2026 on 12 February 2026, marking the first time an international cake artistry award show is physically held in the country. Staged as part of the Bake & Delicacy Show, the event is expected to welcome world-renowned cake artists from more than 37 countries, positioning the Maldives on the global culinary and creative arts stage and further broadening its appeal to international audiences beyond its established tourism strengths.
Recognised internationally as a prestigious platform celebrating creativity, innovation, and excellence in cake decorating and sugarcraft, the World Cake Artistry Awards will honour outstanding achievement across 60 international categories. The awards highlight artistic skill, design innovation, and professional excellence within the global cake artistry community, and the 2026 edition is expected to draw attention from international media and industry stakeholders keen to follow emerging trends and master-level craftsmanship in the sector.
The 2026 edition is organised by My Cakes and Sweets, led by Mujuthaba Abdulla, with participants representing a wide geographic footprint across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Participating countries include Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, France, India, Japan, Malaysia, the Maldives, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States, and several others, underscoring the event’s international reach and competitive depth.
