Barceló Nasandhura has announced two poolside events at its Nasandhura Pool Deck in Malé, inviting residents and visitors to celebrate the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026 in a relaxed, resort-style setting. Positioned along the capital’s waterfront, Barceló Nasandhura continues to build its profile as an urban hospitality destination that combines the convenience of city access with the leisure ambience typically associated with island resorts.

The celebrations will feature a guest DJ from Spain, bringing a touch of Mediterranean-inspired music and energy to the heart of Malé. The events, scheduled for 30 December 2025 and 2 January 2026, are open to the public and are curated for guests who wish to enjoy an elevated poolside experience without leaving the city. By hosting international entertainment and social activities on its pool deck, the hotel is strengthening its role as a preferred venue for lifestyle and social gatherings in the capital.

The first event, “Pool Party & Chill”, will be held on 30 December from 12:00 pm. Designed as a daytime gathering, it will feature live music, mocktails and a selection of food offerings, creating a casual yet refined environment for families, groups of friends and corporate guests. Entry for the event is priced at USD 50++ for adults and USD 25++ for children, providing access to the Nasandhura Pool Deck’s facilities and ambience as guests close out the year in a vibrant but comfortable setting.

Following the New Year celebrations, Barceló Nasandhura will host a “Sunset Pool Party” on 2 January 2026 from 5:00 pm. This evening event will focus on sunset views, swimming and music, offering a more laid-back, transitional atmosphere as guests ease into the year ahead. Entry is priced at USD 60++ for adults and USD 30++ for children. With the backdrop of Malé’s skyline and the hotel’s contemporary poolside facilities, the event is designed to appeal to those seeking a calm yet social environment after the busy festive period.

According to Barceló Nasandhura, both events are intended to provide an accessible leisure experience within Malé, blending urban convenience with resort-style amenities. By opening the celebrations to the wider community rather than limiting them to in-house guests, the hotel is further positioning itself as a lifestyle and social hub in the capital’s hospitality landscape. Both the Pool Party & Chill and the Sunset Pool Party will take place at the Nasandhura Pool Deck and are open to all, subject to the published entry fees.
