The Nautilus Foundation has announced a grant of MVR 150,000 to the Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM), strengthening nationwide efforts to prevent cancer, promote early detection, and enhance public awareness across the island nation. The funding is directed towards expanding CSM’s ongoing programmes, with a particular focus on early screening initiatives and community-based education that encourages Maldivians to seek timely medical advice and adopt healthier lifestyles.
This latest grant reflects the Foundation’s broader commitment to advancing public health and community well-being in the Maldives. By supporting CSM, an organisation actively engaged on the front lines of cancer awareness and prevention, the Foundation aims to help bridge gaps in access to information and services, especially for communities living far from central healthcare facilities.
