His Excellency Dr Khalilur Rahman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at the President’s Office on Sunday evening, reaffirming the close and longstanding relationship between the Maldives and Bangladesh.
President Dr Muizzu warmly welcomed Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman and expressed his sincere appreciation for his visit to the Maldives as the Special Guest of the Government at the country’s 61st Independence Day celebrations. The President noted that the Minister’s participation reflected the strong friendship, mutual respect and continuing diplomatic engagement shared between the two countries.
