The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Yahya Hassan Al-Qahtani, reaffirmed the long-standing and steadily growing relationship between Saudi Arabia and the Maldives during a ceremonial gathering in Malé held to commemorate Saudi Arabia’s Founding Day. The annual celebration, observed on 22 February, marks the establishment of the first Saudi state and serves as an occasion to reflect on the Kingdom’s historical journey, cultural heritage, and continued national development.

The event brought together a distinguished audience comprising Maldivian cabinet ministers, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and high-ranking representatives of the Saudi diplomatic mission in the Maldives.
