Dhiraagu has introduced the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra to the Maldivian market, providing customers with the ability to access full cellular connectivity directly from their smartwatch through the company’s OneNumber service. The launch reflects the continued evolution of digital lifestyle solutions in the Maldives, offering users greater flexibility and independence in how they stay connected.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is designed to deliver advanced sports tracking and high-performance features, combined with built-in cellular capabilities that allow users to communicate without relying on a nearby smartphone. When paired with Dhiraagu’s OneNumber service, customers can make and receive voice calls, send and receive SMS messages, and access mobile data directly from the watch, even if their phone is switched off or left behind. This capability is particularly valuable for active individuals, professionals on the move, and travelers who prefer lightweight, streamlined connectivity without compromising functionality.

The OneNumber service is compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 3. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 3 is currently available for purchase via Dhiraagu’s website for eligible customers, with instalment plans starting from MVR 759. By offering flexible payment options, Dhiraagu continues to make advanced technology more accessible to a broader customer base across the country.

The service is available to customers subscribed to all Postpaid and Prepaid Voice, SMS, and Data plans, including Traveler Plans with Voice and SMS, when used with the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra. This ensures that both residents and visitors to the Maldives can benefit from seamless connectivity through a single number, eliminating the need for multiple SIM cards or separate subscriptions.

Activation of the OneNumber service is carried out through the Galaxy Wearable application, where users are guided step-by-step through device pairing, identity verification, and the downloading of the eSIM profile. Upon successful completion of the process, customers receive an SMS confirmation notifying them that the service has been activated and is ready for use. The straightforward setup process is designed to provide convenience while maintaining secure digital verification standards.

Dhiraagu stated that it remains committed to delivering innovative connectivity solutions that enhance customer experience and empower individuals to stay connected wherever they are. As digital lifestyles continue to expand in the Maldives, the integration of cellular-enabled wearables marks an important development in how users interact with technology in their daily lives. The company also confirmed that the OneNumber service for Apple Watch is expected to be available soon, further broadening wearable connectivity options for customers.

With the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and OneNumber service, Dhiraagu continues to support the Maldives’ growing demand for advanced digital services, aligning the nation with global trends in smart wearable technology and mobile innovation.
