MACL has outlined clear eligibility requirements to ensure the initiative strengthens local capacity and supports national SME development. Applicants must be registered as an SME with the Ministry of Economic Development and must include at least five Maldivians within their team, reinforcing local participation and skills development within the technology sector. Interested providers are also required to submit full contact details, employee profiles, and relevant registration certificates to demonstrate capability and readiness to deliver professional services. MACL further noted that contracts may be awarded to eligible bidders following a prescribed procedure, based on specific project requirements, ensuring that partnerships are matched appropriately to business needs and implementation scope.
