President and First Lady to make a state visit to China

H.E. President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, accompanied by First Lady Sajidha Mohamed, will undertake a state visit to China from January 7th–12th, 2024.

The President’s Office has revealed that the President and First Lady will be visiting China on an invitation extended by H.E. Xi Jinping, the President of the People’s Republic of China.

This will be the first couple’s second international trip. President Dr. Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha made their first international trip to the Republic of Türkiye at the invitation of H.E. President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in December last year.
