Ifuru Island Resort, located at R. Ifuru, is getting ready to offer skydiving to tourists—the first time this activity has been offered in the Maldives.
For this purpose, the UK-based Ifuru Island Resort has brought in a Cessna 208B. The resort opened in September of this year. The plane, which arrived on Friday, has every piece of gear required for skydiving.
Ifuru Island Resort has partnered with iFly London, the premier indoor skydiving company in the UK, to offer skydiving experiences supervised by British professional Will Penny, who has twenty years of experience in the sport. From now until March of the following year, visitors to Ifuru Island Resort will be able to take advantage of free skydiving services.
Ifuru Island Resort is a luxurious resort with 147 villas, six restaurants serving international cuisine, four bars, and other specialized amenities.
