President Dr. Mohamed is scheduled to attend the 28th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP28 UAE) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Dubai, UAE later this month.
The President announced his intention to attend the COP-28 while speaking at the official reception commemorating the 52nd Union Day of the UAE.
The COP summit will take place from 30 November to 12 December 2023. Speaking at the ceremony, President Dr. Muizzu assured full support from the Maldives to the UAE for the success of this summit and commended the UAE presidency for its robust outcomes.
