Hulhule Island Hotel (HIH) has announced a strategic partnership with Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB), Bestbuy Maldives (BBM) and Public Service Media (PSM) in celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan 1447 (2026), bringing together leading organisations to deliver a refined and meaningful Ramadan experience for guests and the wider community. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to creating thoughtfully designed hospitality experiences that combine tradition, community values and contemporary service excellence during one of the most spiritually significant periods of the year.

Through this partnership, the participating organisations aim to enrich HIH’s Ramadan programme with carefully curated experiences and community-focused initiatives that highlight the essence of togetherness, reflection and generosity associated with the holy month. BBM and MIB will work closely with the hotel to support a series of Ramadan activities, including specially curated Iftar experiences, Taraweeh gatherings and exclusive seasonal offerings designed to create welcoming spaces for families, corporate groups and community members to gather and share meaningful moments.

The Memorandum of Understanding formalising the collaboration was signed during a dedicated ceremony attended by representatives of the partner organisations. Hotel Manager Hawwa Fareesha signed the agreement on behalf of Hulhule Island Hotel, while Bestbuy Maldives was represented by Ali Afrah Hassan, Head of HR, Admin and Corporate Affairs. Maldives Islamic Bank was represented by Customer Experience Officer Ahmed Neerain Jaleel, reflecting a collective institutional commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen social connection during Ramadan.

Hulhule Island Hotel will also continue its collaboration with Public Service Media as the official Media Partner for Ramadan 2026, ensuring extensive engagement and visibility across multiple platforms throughout the holy month. The partnership is expected to amplify awareness of the hotel’s Ramadan programmes while promoting shared cultural values to audiences locally and internationally.

Commenting on the collaboration, Group General Manager Ali Shakir noted that Ramadan represents a time of reflection, generosity and unity, adding that the partnership with BBM and MIB, supported by PSM as media partner, reinforces the hotel’s ongoing dedication to delivering memorable Ramadan experiences for both guests and the community. He emphasised that Hulhule Island Hotel remains committed to maintaining a welcoming environment where traditions are honoured while offering elevated hospitality standards.
